What is vegUI

vegUI is a javascript based window manager or widget collection. A user-interface system. A framework for dynamic web applications. I am not sure what to call it :) All of that. It also provides functions to do AJAX operations.

What is a widget

A widget is a control element - a button for example - that allows the viewer to interact with your website

Is there a newsletter service that will inform me when a new version of vegUI is relased ?

What browsers are supported

The current version of vegUI is developed to be standard compliant and currently works in these browsers:

• Mozilla based browsers, like Netscape and Mozilla
• Internet Explorer 7
• Internet Explorer 6 (slow)

• Safari (WebKit required)

What to use vegUI for

While vegUI can also be used to build dynamic websites its main purpose is to serve as a solid foundation for the development of web applications such as administration areas for websites or community driven websites.

Under what license is vegUI being distributed

vegUI is currently distributed under the MIT License which allows you to use it in any project - including commercial projects - as long as you include it's copyright message.
